Latest Planning Update for Shurdington
The Tewkesbury Local Council is in the process of producing a Revised Joint Core Strategy with its neighbouring councils, Gloucester and Cheltenham, designed to deliver in excess of 35,000 homes over the plan period.
The review of this plan commenced in 2017 with Issues and Options undertaken in early 2019 and it has been identified that Tewkesbury's contribution through its local plan is deficient, hence a need for additional sites to be identified.
Our site has been promoted through the joint call for sites process and the next step in the review process is the preferred options consultation which is currently timetabled for Spring 2023.
